Worldwide, guess which Bible-named city appears to be most popular? One count shows over 40 places in the world called “Bethlehem”—over 25 of them in the US alone.
One of the most well-known is Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, founded by members of the Moravian religious group who, on Christmas Eve, named their town after the biblical Bethlehem in Judea, the birthplace of Jesus.
